This is my Bunnythumper.

I chose it firstly as I already had the .177 S10 and I loved it. Although I didn’t need it I wanted something with that little extra thump for out in the field. Hence the .22 calibre and I wanted a full length as you get a few extra shots per charge, you get more with a .22 anyway but it’s always handy when you’re out in a field and miles away from anything. It’s a multishot rifle which means you dont have to fiddle about with reloading, I just fill my pockets with full magazines and go out and hide in the field all day rifle out of sight of any vermin. It’s just me, the bunnythumper and a flask of coffee,
As you can see it’s fitted with a bi-pod, which is remarkably handy for as all day sesh, and keeps your gun ready to spring into action with out to much movement.
I got this rifle second hand and it’s been tuned up and blueprinted by Mr Bowkett himself, its also fitted with a Walnut Paul Wilson R/H thumbhole Stock, Adjustable but-pad, it’s all a bit too nice for me and is usually found on the nice shiny competition circuit rifles and not one being used for hunting. The stock does make it a bit heavier than normal but it’s so comfortable to hold that the rifle feels like an extension of my arm. So it’s great for all day shooting. Because of the quality of the stock when out in the field it is usually covered in a gunsock and camo netting in order to protect the rifle and break up its outline. I will show you how to cover a gun in the tips section soon.
The rifle is currently putting out 11.6 ft-lb over the chrono although I'm contemplating getting a firearms certificate and taking it up past the 12 ft-lb limit. This will give it a nicer flatter trajectory with the .22 pellets and the ability to work out towards the 60 yard mark. And currently it’s topped off with a 30mm tube Walther scope that is however probably going onto one of the other rifles as I have an MTC Viper going on this rifle once its power is changed. I'll go into the scopes in the scope section.
